Drove 30 minutes to try this delicious Mexican food. Fantastic tamales. Only disappointment was the refrigerated Cabernet.

Yummy!! Had shrimp fajitas and a margarita to celebrate Cinco de Mayo!! Very tasty, and the servers were great! We'll be back!

We stopped here on the way home from Sky Meadows State Park and we're glad we did! It's not very big, but the inside is beautifully decorated (each table and booth is painted with scenes of Mexico) and each table has a massive collection of hot sauces. The food is great too: my wife and I ordered fajitas for two and they came sizzling hot and tasty. Our kid loved the tacos and burritos on their kids menu as well. Highly recommended and much cheaper than most of the New American places in this part of Virginia targeting the winery crowd.

The best Authentic Mexican tacos! I’m from the south and I miss “real” tacos. Tried the carne asada tacos and was very pleased. Great homemade salsa, a little spicy, just the way it should be. Corn tortillas filled deep with tender carne asada. Side plate of onion, tomato and cilantro. Extra salsa on the spicy side but just right to pep them up. Margarita: had their lime standard margarita and would rate it #2 on my personal coast to coast survey of margaritas. It was very good. They also offer a top shelf and a cadallic margarita. To be fair, my #1 is a cadallic so will try theirs next time and possibly revise my rating. Cadillac Margarita: #1 on my personal survey ( tried on my second visit) coast to coast and I’ve traveled Texas to Alaska and California to Florida. This sets the bar on how a Cadillac should taste. Perfecto!!! cocktail de Cameron; Mexican shrimp cocktail. Excellent. My new #1 spot coast to coast. Large fresh shrimp, chunks of avocado, tomato, onion, cilantro in a spicy tomato base served in a bowl cup. Very nice I’ve found a new favorite place. This is the standard against which all shrimp cocktails should be judged. This is the way it should be done. I’m sure this will be your favorite as well. This shrimp cocktail is a meal. Wait staff is always friendly, cook is always fast. I’ve visited multiple times now, during busy and slow periods. Small dining area and only 4 barstools, 3 booths, 6 tables seating 4, one table seating 6, and one table seating 2. But it is oh so good. Plenty of Nice outdoor seating available. I’ve tried 6 other locals as recommended by web search. They ranged from blah to so-so and overpriced. Hands down, for authentic tacos and shrimp cocktail, this is my #1 favorite. I return here on a regular basis because it’s consistently good and occasionally try other dishes. Prices are quite reasonable. Don’t pass up an opportunity to visit here

Traveling home from WV on 66 and used Google maps to find a local place. 4.5 stars here, so we gave it a try. Cozy, welcomimg, great service and fantastic food. The road from 66 to this place had me worried we were in the wrong place, but there it was. Highly recommend!

We moved to Virginia from Arizona a year ago, and this is the first restaurant we've been to that reminded us of home. The food and the atmosphere were amazing! We plan on becoming regulars.

Went here for the very purpose of going here. As there isn’t much else out here. Im glad I went. Friendly service. Nice menu verity. Tasty food. Love the selection of hot sauces at the table. Really wanted to try the dessert trio but unfortunately I was too full. Maybe next time. Definitely recommended!! Nice drive out on 55.

This is the best restaurant in the area. Yes they’re fancier places, more expensive places, but this is my favorite. El agave is a very small chain. I love all of the food I’ve ever had here. Each time down you receive salsa and chips, and they are so delicious. The salsa is so fresh, and the chips come out hot and crispy. Service is always excellent, the food comes out quickly and efficiently. I guess my favorite dish is probably fajitas. I got chicken topped with chorizo last time I was there, it was excellent. I make it a point to stop here every time I’m in the area !!
